Sorry if I've been MIA for a bit--I went right from my incredible vacation in Maui to two days at home and another suitcase to pack. I had some work stuff on the east coast--both in NYC and in DE so I did a little east coast road show. With a shoot in NYC on a monday I got to fly out on Sat to see some of my college gal friends on Sat night and celebrate my friend JIll's bday on Sunday. Jill and Brian were incredible hosts, making me feel so at home and Brian is such a gracious host. I can't wait to return the favor in LA. Endless food and drinks and an amazing view of lower Manhattan from their great condo in Brooklyn. Loved it...wish I could've stayed long. But I had to hope over to Nolita area in NYC to meet up w/ my work crew for dinner sunday night and our shoot on Monday. We had a 12 hour shoot day packed with shots but we were able to get it all thanks to everyone and our incredible talent. We were actually shooting stuff for some cool digital banners that will be coming out. Look on MSN.com on july 12th and you'll see our home page takeaver for 21st century auto insurance.
After my time in NYC I had to go down to DE for more meetings....but I was able to stop off in Phila on tues night for dinner with my family. One dinner can go a long way, a hug from dad and the rest of the crew and little hugs and kisses from all my awesome nieces and nephews. It was a really nice visit--short but quality. Then a full day in DE followed by dinner with my clients and then back to NYC for more meetings on Thursday and finally a flight back on Thursday eve. And it wouldn't be a normal biz trip if you didn't have delays and have to sprint to your connecting flight. So needless to say i'm VERY happy to be back home. As I sit on my sofa watching movies and enjoying the cool breeze coming in off the balcony i'm quite pleased that i have no agenda for my weekend other than to relax.
