a vision

So i went to yoga again last night and had another incredible experience. My mind seems to be drinking in the yogie way more than it ever has before! This class was taught by someone who happens to fit my definition of incredibly hot and he had the sexiest voice too....so that always helps when you're sweating your a** off! And what was super cool, was at the end of class during out last few moments and ultimately during our Savasana he started playing this musical instrument that i had never seen--kinda like an accordian but it was on the ground in this cool wooden box. The harmony it spread across the room was quite moving and as I lied there taking in my final moments of this class, I had some interesting visions come across my mind's eye. I'm sure this is going to be tough to translate in writing but I'll try...
As I laid there still as can be with my exhausted body sinking into the ground, my first thought as the harmony filled the room was, "i'm home." I had this overwhelming sensation, more than I've ever had before, that this is my home now. That I'm really meant to be living here in So Cal, and my neighborhood--Santa Monica. That carried me to this vision of lying on the beach right at the water's edge where the water is washing up over you but just a little bit. Like a cleanse. Like something moving through me. And during it, I felt myself and my mind and body just surrender to it. This was powerful for me, because as you may or may not know, the ocean freaks me out and I have a fear of drowning. So for me to feel the ultimate sense of freedom and peace while lying so willingly at the water's edge--well that was a strong sensation. I was able to make this connection as I was lying there and the thought came over me that I'm surrendering to life, not fear. That I know I'm finally on the right path now, and while it's scary and some days I completely freaked out about not having enough money to make it, I'm finding peace with that. I'm surrendering. Because I know I'm right where I should be and I know my path is laid out in front of me and it is that path I shall follow...
