in keeping with my 3 month tear of not being home in LA for more than 2 weeks i'm already packing my suitcase again. this time i'm going on a 6 city tour for focus groups. nothing like an airplane a day. sunday to orlando, tuesday to tampa, wednesday to miami, thursday to phila, friday to new orleans. and i don't even get to see/do much because we do our research from 5-10pm at night! so lots of rental cars and baggage fees. BUT given that i had to be in new orleans on monday 7/25 i decided i'd just fly there on friday 7/22 vs going back west only for a day (MY BIRTHDAY), so i get to spend a fun filled weekend in New Orleans with my boss, who's a ton of fun. so i'm quite excited for that.
i was in NOLA back in 2008 and have been dying to go back ever since. and i'm certainly not happy about the age i'm turning (yea yea it's a number but i'm still allowed to not like it) so i figure there's no city to party in like you're 22 again but new orleans. bring on the hurricane drink, ha :) so that should be a nice break from the routine of the 15+ hours i've been pulling in the office. this job went from zero to 60 and ever since i've been on this new account i'm just trying to keep up. it's been way more exhausting than it should be (lots of reasons for that) so i'm trying to work that out in my head. who knows where that will lead...
so that's about it. i hope to post some pics from my weekend away and maybe something interesting will happen along my travels. otherwise, happy summer to all.
