my beautiful nieces

i'm such a proud aunt today. both margaret and marissa entered a singing competition and both did just fabulous. i'm so so proud of them for having the confidence to get up and sign in front of a crowd--especially judges!! they have such beautiful voices and i'm so proud to see them conquer their nerves and fears and sing their little hearts out. i've enclosed a link to their videos here for you to enjoy!! what i would give for my mom to have seen this....she would've just LOVED it, talk about being proud. she would've told the world about her granddaughters.

i also have to acknowledge them for the amazing care package they sent me full of letters, a CD/movie of pictures of all the kids, me, my mom etc, some new pictures of them, a collage for my new office and of course my favorite girl scout cookies, YUM. it's the little things in life that can make us so happy and even though i'm so far away, i feel very loved today. xoxo
