Well 2011 has already been off to a busy start. I kicked it off by crossing something big off my list from 2010--I decided (partially for my own peace of mind and partially to be "preventative) to go get some GI tests done, including a colonoscopy. It's something my mom never did and now she's gone so it's something I refuse to ever feel not 100% ahead of. So with that, I went on jan 3rd and my colon got a clean bill of heath, yay. And really, it wasn't so bad. Yes 64 oz of liquid is a lot to ingest and the result isn't fun but it's really fine in the grand scheme of things. So if you're over 40 or especially over 50, PLEASE promise me you too will go. NOW.
Beyond that, work has been off to quite the start. I think some changes will be in store with some things I'm working on--for what I hope will be for the better--so it should be interesting to see what shakes out this year. We'll see....but in the meantime, I sure am hoping eHarmony is right in saying that January tends to be a good month with attracting new registrants as I need some new men to review in 2011! One can only hope :)
So here's to kickin the year off right. Let's hope the Eagles too kick it off right in their playoff game this weekend--can't believe football is nearing to a close (i always get sad when the season actually concludes). But at least this year I'm the champion of my Fantasy Football league--quite the accomplishment, i'm pretty excited. And the $400 that goes with it isn't so bad either!
I remain optimistic that 2011 WILL BE BETTER. And I'm looking forward to it.
