I haven't had a moment to write on my life this past week! So wanted to drop a quick post but another one to follow soon as I have to upload some pics of my wonderful weekend with my friends tracey and todd who came to visit me this past weekend. we had a grand ol time...they say i'm a great tour guide of LA so good to know if this career doesn't pan out i have a back up ;)
speaking of career, my job has taking a turn in the past few weeks but a very good one. i'm now working on a new account--21st Century Auto Insurance. it's a huge account with lots going on...infinite opportunity and i'm thrilled to be in a position to lead the account. it's just a bit understaffed right now so until i get my team built back up it's busier than normal...and the fact that it's all new to me so i'm in major "ramp up" mode. it's been great though...i've been itching for a big challenge now that i'm feeling more and more like me (vs this past year). so it came at a good time and while it's still crazy busy i'm making sure i'm maintaing my balance b/w work and life. or at least trying to.
i fly out on sunday to meet the clients mon/tues--and crazy enough they are located in DE so i'll have reasons to fly back east more often...which works for me! this is a quick trip that's packed w/ meetings and client dinners but moving forward i'm hopefully i can do friday or monday meetings and be able to see the fam or friends on the weekends. so that works great!
i have lots of fun things planned for the month of May--every weekend is booked so life will continue to be busy but i'll post what i'm up to here for those that are still interested. i do appear to have some loyal readers....so thanks to whomever's out there :)
