Not a whole lot to share but thought I'd drop an update, 1 week after my bday celebrations. Thanks again for all of the lovely wishes, cards, calls, etc :) I'm gearing up for the kick off of August. That's going to be the 31 day countdown to finding a job--freelance or full time. The past few weeks I've spent networking, dusting off my resume and talking to everyone and anyone that could lead me to something interesting. So I'm confident something will stick as I continue that mission through August. Or let's hope at least that my luck hasn't run out.
On the personal front I'm also making my way though the dating scene--it's quite fun. I haven't been on this many dates in I don't know how long. I can't help but wonder if Mom is up there pulling stings ;) So we'll see where that takes me. I had an interesting date last night--he's intriguing. Not sure beyond that so I suppose that warrants a second date. And tonight I have a second date with someone else, excited for that. So we'll see...
That's about all I got right now. It's finally turning Summer here in SoCal (we have a late start, esp at the beach b/c of the marine layer). So today I'm headed to yoga, lunch with a friend and then we're hitting the beach for a couple hours. I'm looking to soak up as much relaxation and even some culture before my life is no longer my own b/c of a new job. I checked out LACMA (LA County Museum of Art).
