another year wiser?

Let's hope! Last week I turned another year older. But this year I didn't mind it so much, and I asked myself -- why was that? And as much as it may sound silly to admit, I think it's because I'm happier than I've been in a long time and I'm a believer that more good is to come. And of course the tarrot card reading on my birthday 1 year ago predicted this past year to be "turbulant" with lots of changes like moving and changing jobs in a big way (wow, talk about summing up my year!) and this upcoming year she said is the "year of god" = best year of my life.

So I decided that I'm making the 2nd half of 2012 and the first half of 2013 the best year of my life -- it's gonna happen. And so far I feel like I'm off to a pretty good start. With the launch of my website (www.ostrichcoaching.com), a great meeting in San Francisco presenting to a group of advertising HR professionals and of course my latest addition, the most handsome chocolate lab puppy EVER, KoKo, week one into this new year is pretty good. And of course kicking off the birthday night surrounded by friends and rockin out in a dive bar to the likes of Katy Perry and Guns N Roses on the juke box did a soul good. So here's to what I hope is another year wiser but if nothing else, one damn good year.
