I don't have too much to share of my life at the moment as it's sadly being dominated by work and a project I'm on that's under an extreme deadline. So I hope to come back up for air in a couple weeks. But that said, I do have some bragging to do!
First, I think I mentioned my littlest niece Sophie turned 6 last week. Well, I picked out for her the cutest "LA" outfit I could find--in her favorite color (PINK) of course. Tie-died pink and white skinny jeans with a white wife beater tank. And doesn't she wear it well, love her!
And next, while I have two nephews, neither of which belong to my brother who always imagined having a boy, Shawn. BUT he's got a boy is his youngest, my adorable niece Marissa. And check her out--away for a camping weekend with just her Dad, she caught herself a handsome fish. I'm so proud of her!!!
So I thought I'd post some pics and take a moment to, well, brag a little. I miss all my little ones.
Hi Jen! I finally checked out your terrific blog. Loved the picture of Sophie (I thought that was you at 6yrs) and Marissa. Glad to hear you're o.k. I must admit now that golf season has rolled around, I'm even more saddened without your Mom. I have her happy smile picture by my computer and she just helps me cherish each day. Went to a golf meeting yesterday and the ladies all said how much they missed her. Left a message for your Dad to come to dinner but should have called his cell instead. I hear he's keeping busy and has mowed his lawn twice before anyone in the neighborhood had started mowing! I'm proud of all that you're doing. Yummy lookin dinner...keep "shakin those pots and pans"!
ReplyDeleteWas going to write you a note to thank you for the lovely letter you sent on Mom's stationery. It's a beautiful letter and I will keep it forever. Thanks. Take care,

Hi Jen,
ReplyDeleteWe had you Dad over for dinner last week. Great fun catching up and talking. Thinking of you especially this Mother's Day weekend. You know that you have lots of surrogate mom's who love and care for you. Have you decided to take a new direction? Hopefully, you are taking time to mend and care for yourself. Love, Sally W.
