It's a bit cool here in LA, only going up to 63 or so. But it's a perfect day to walk around the LA beer festival! I'm headed over today with my friend Kate and others and very much looking forward to it. Last night I enjoyed some margaritas and mexican food at El Carmen with my boss, his partner and another co-worker. It just so happens to be the bar where Mom met my boss when she was here in LA (the only person she met of my new LA life). So it was nice to return and raise a glass to mom--I'm sure she was looking down wishing she was there--we all had such fun the last time.
