Well we're half way through August and I'm busy dog walking and babysitting and occasionally interviewing. Goal is to be working come September, working back in advertising that is. So i'm half way through the month and remaining positive that something will pan out. Fingers crossed. But in the meantime I'm enjoying the "easy life" and only wish it was lucrative to do for a lifetime because it's quite nice. Dogs and kids really have a way of putting things into perspective, their nieve and happy-go-lucky view on life is so refreshing. And it definitely beats the politics of the workplace :)
As for other fun stuff, the 3rd date went well. Not sure there was any turning point moment but I'm still interested so that in and of itself is progress. So we'll see... I also went with a friend to a movie in the park alongside all the infamous LA food trucks. Bring a blanket, watch Breakfast Club outside and pick among a bunch of awesome food trucks, each one yummy and unique in its on way. That was fun. And I had a lovely night out with my dear friend Gina who wasn't in town on my bday so took me for dinner and then drinks at High, a rooftop bar that's very cool in Venice. We had fun talking about our lives in LA and all that the future could hold for us both.
Not much else to report. I'll close with a picture Stephanie sent me of the "crew." I miss them daily and so enjoying getting texts, pictures, and videos of them/from them. Thanks :)
